The seven-week season will commence on October 3 and conclude on November 21, 2026 with practices and games taking place on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings and/or Saturday mornings (depending on the division).
The U4 Lil’ Strikers Division will play once per week with practices consisting of fun, age-appropriate activities within the 45-minute session. The U6 & U8 Divisions will play once per week with practices and games combined within the one-hour session. The U10-U15 Divisions will practice once per week for an hour with the second day being reserved for games. The U18 Division will play once per week with practices and games combined within the one-hour session. Games will commence the second week of the season.
Every player is assigned a team and a member of Alaska’s most experienced coaching staff. Players receive a uniform kit including a jersey and socks. Players should bring a gear bag, athletic clothes, and a water bottle to each session. Shin guards are required for U6 and older and cleats are required for ages U10 and older.
Team assignments and schedules will be posted in your BYGA Account before the start of the season.
PLEASE NOTE: For the 2026-2027 soccer year, players cycled up to the current age group on June 1, 2026.
ATTENTION: Beginning with the 2026-2027 soccer year, Cook Inlet SC’s Recreational program will reflect the Age Group guidelines recently established by US Youth Soccer (USYS), US Club Soccer, and the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO), in which youth soccer players in the United States will transition from a birth year calendar to a seasonal year schedule when determining the appropriate age group for players (with birthdates ranging from August 1 through July 31).
