A native of Oregon, Scott grew up playing for the Oregon State Select and ODP teams as well as Club Select. Scott earned all-conference honors during high school and went on to play collegiately at Santa Rosa Junior College where his team won the California State College Championship.
Scott holds a USSF B License and has been coaching for CISC since 2017.

About Jason
Originally from New Jersey, Jason is currently the Director of Recreational Programs, Operations, and Communications for Cook Inlet Soccer Club. Prior to taking this role, he was most recently the Program Director for the Anchorage Sports Association after fulfilling roles as Director of Athletics for Boys & Girls Clubs – Alaska for six years and Technical Director for Alaska Rush Soccer Club for four years. And before moving to Anchorage in May 2011, Jason was Academy Director for the TFA Elite Soccer Academy, a premier soccer school program for American military personnel and their dependents stationed on Yokota AB, Japan. While in Japan, he was also Head Varsity Coach for Yokota HS Boys’ Soccer and Goalkeeper Coach for Nike’s Grassroots Soccer Clinics in Japan, that latter of which allowed him to work directly alongside academy/youth coaches from top European sides such as Celtic FC, FC Barcelona, Manchester United, and the KNVB.
Jason is also only one of two coaching education instructors for Alaska Youth Soccer, a position that allows him to teach and certify coaching candidates. Jason’s coaching qualifications include:
• English FA Level 3 Certificate in Coaching Football (UEFA B)
• United States Soccer Federation “B” License
• United State Soccer Federation National Goalkeeping License
• United State Soccer Federation Grassroots Instructor License
• Scottish FA Level 2 Goalkeeping Certificate

About Laef
Laef is a West High School alumnus (’93) and grew up playing in Alaska where he won multiple state titles and was named Gatorade Player of the Year and a High School All-American in 1992. After graduating high school, Laef attended Pacific Lutheran University for two years before transferring to Hartwick College to finish his collegiate playing career and earn a BA Fine Arts. Laef has coached club & high school soccer for more the 20+ years, twice earning Cook Inlet Conference Coach of the Year honors as head boys coach of his alma mater West High School.
Laef holds a USSF National C License and is passionate about fostering a player-centered environment where the development of youth soccer players is aligned with their specific age. He firmly believes that a structured and thoughtful approach to development ensures long-term success, both on and off the field.

Obed grew up playing in Mexico for the Monarcas Morelia Academy and graduated to its first team. Once he retired from his professional playing career, Obed’s love of soccer led him to start coaching. Obed holds a USSF D license coach and has attended international coaching clinics hosted by Real Madrid, Ajax and Bayern Leverkusen.
In addition to coaching competitive soccer in Spain, Obed has been coaching competitive youth soccer in the United States since 2014. He has coached competitively in Mexico and Spain.
