Summer Rec League

The seven-week season will commence on June 1 and conclude on July 16, 2026 with practices and games taking place between Monday through Thursday evenings (depending on the division). All age groups will practice once per week for an hour with the second day being reserved for games. Games will commence the second week of the season.

Every player is assigned a team and a member of Alaska’s most experienced coaching staff. Players receive a uniform kit including a jersey and socks. Players should bring a gear bag, athletic clothes, and a water bottle to each session. Shin guards are required for U6 and older and cleats are required for ages U10 and older. 

Team assignments and schedules will be posted in your BYGA Account before the start of the session.

PLEASE NOTE: The Summer 2026 season is the first season of the 2026-2027 recreational soccer year with players cycling up to the next age group on June 1, 2026.

ATTENTION: Beginning with the 2026-2027 soccer year, Cook Inlet SC’s Recreational program will reflect the Age Group guidelines recently established by US Youth Soccer (USYS), US Club Soccer, and the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO), in which youth soccer players in the United States will transition from a birth year calendar to a seasonal year schedule when determining the appropriate age group for players (with birthdates ranging from August 1 through July 31).
