Greetings!
The close of summer saw Cook Inlet SC finish the 2023-2024 soccer season on a high, culminating with the club winning SEVEN Alaska Youth Soccer State Cup Championships, more than any other soccer club in the state!! Building on that success, over 500 players came out to Competitive Tryouts in August to try and earn a spot with Alaska’s most successful youth soccer club. Additionally, the third quarter also saw Cook Inlet SC’s Fall 2024 Recreational Soccer Seasons, both Outdoor and Indoor, explode in growth, well beyond last year’s figures, to continue it’s claims as Anchorage’s largest youth soccer program.
Finally, we want to thank players, coaches, team managers, treasurers, families, alumni, staff, and volunteers for their continued support over the last year in helping demonstrate why Cook Inlet SC is the preeminent youth soccer club in Alaska! We are grateful for all they do to contribute to the organization’s success. Thank you!
And with that, please enjoy below a rundown of club news from the start of the second half of 2024 both on and off the pitch!

We take pride in this program and once again, for the 2024-2025 soccer season, over $20,000 in financial aid will be offered to our families.
So when you see owners and employees of our community partners, whom are listed below, please thank them for their contributions to youth development and support their businesses.

In-state and out-of-state, Cook Inlet SC Competitive teams have been taking care of business. Check out some of the highlights below:
2024 USYS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
Three Cook Inlet SC teams – 09G Elite, 08G Elite & 07G Elite – competed at the 2024 US Youth Soccer National Championships in Orlando, FL between July 23-28, 2024.
Each summer, US Youth Soccer crowns a 13U-19U Boys and Girls national champion after a culmination of year-long competitions at the state and regional levels during the National Championships. Consisting of approximately 185,000 players on 10,000 teams from USYS’s 54 State Associations, National Championships offers the opportunity to showcase some of the country’s premier talent against the best competition in the nation.
The Cook Inlet SC 09G Elite team played admirably over their three games of group play, but were unfortunate to not advance to the knockout stage as they finished with a record of 0W 2L 1D with 5GF 8GA. The Cook Inlet SC 08G Elite team also were unfortunate to not advance to the knockout stage even though they played a stylish brand of football, finishing with a record of 0W 3L 0D with 3GF 9GA. Finally, the 07G Elite made history as the FIRST Alaskan team to earn a victory at Nationals with their 5-0 win over Drake G07 (Cal South). Unfortunately, even after earning a draw in their first game, they just missed out moving onto the knockout stage with a 1-2 loss in their last game.
Finally, a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Cook Inlet SC’s own Faith Hughes & Brooklyn Bailey for earning Best XI: 17U Girls honors and Alivia Bailey for earning an Honorable Mention: 15U Girls at the 2024 USYS National Championships this Summer!
Well done Faith, Brooklyn, and Alivia!!
Your CISC family ❤️’s you and is so proud of you!
